It should be expected when you’ve just bought new clothes that the colors will eventually start to fade as they’re washed and dried over time, but that doesn’t make it any less disappointing when you pull something out of a dryer and it's practically grey when it used to be blue! Fabric Softener?

Fabric softeners can actually cause your clothes to fade quicker! If you’ve been using fabric softeners to avoid static when removing your clothes from the dryer, try using static-relieving balls instead!

Hot Iron

The biggest factor in your scrubs fading over time is the use of a machine dryer. To keep some color in your scrubs, try press drying them! You may not have used a hot iron in years (or ever!) but go ahead and give it a try! You’ll be pleased with how vibrant your scrubs will be, and they’ll be crisp, warm and wrinkle-free when you put them on.

The Best Drying Method
