blue sky scrubs Gives Thanks

As a medical scrubs supplier, we often think of those who wear our scrubs and hats. Our clients save lives and they make this world a better place. They see things that many of us only hear about and yet they keep going, every day with a smile, every case met with hope and confidence. When we ship a hospital uniform, it can be easy to forget who may receive that uniform and what that person may accomplish. The individual who ordered from us could be someone who will hand a mother her first born child, remove a kidney from one so that another has a chance to grow old, or offer comfort to a baby with a fever. Maybe that person will save the life of a family pet or sing to a child while stitching a wound. We are eager to express our gratitude to our clients, not only for their continual support, but for all that our clients do for the community, for our families and friends, and for making the world a better place.

In the spirit of the season, we asked our clients and our staff if they wanted to share their thanks; below are their responses.

I'm eternally grateful for my health and well-being, and the fact that my spouse and I can provide for my children, so that they have a bed to crawl into at night, and never go to bed hungry, cold, scared, or lonely. I am thankful for many things this year. I'm incredibly thankful for the wonderful job that I have at blue sky scrubs. It's so awesome that I get to work with my sister everyday. Not only does my sister work there, but I have also made a lifelong friendship with Katy. My boss, David, is the best boss in the world. Because of my wonderful job I was finally able to get into my first house. It is better than I could've ever dreamed. Finally, I am thankful for my husband. I am so lucky to have met such an amazing guy. He not only takes care of me, but he makes me laugh like no one else in the world. I am thankful that I live in Austin, TX where it is quiet and safe. I am thankful for the opportunity to work with Mr. and Dr. Marquardt, who are two of the most amazing bosses a person could have. I am thankful for my family and for the 8 hours I get to spend with my little sister 5 days a week. More than anything, I am eternally grateful that I have a beautiful, happy, smart, kind, healthy daughter who is someone that I can look up to, who keeps me grounded, focused, and happy, and who can make me smile even on the most difficult days. --Andrea Mueller, Administration

I am very thankful for the family and friends in my life, especially my parents. My mother is my hero, and I am thankful every day for all she gave up to give my brother and me a safe, exciting, and full life. Growing up with divorced parents can be extremely difficult on children but I never questioned the love from both of my parents. They have always been my biggest fans and as a child there's nothing more you can ask for than supportive parents that teach you when there's a lesson to be learned and love you unconditionally. This year I was able to delve deeper into my relationship with my older brother, the significance for which I could never express in a few words. Like a dormant flower, our relationship finally bloomed and it has been beautiful! I am truly thankful for the love and kindness he has shown me this year. --Katy Hebel, Quality Assurance

I am thankful for my family, my freinds, my dog, living in Austin, and all the great people and vendors that I work with. Accomplishing goals is difficult. To one degree or another, we tend to follow through on things. I thrive on having goals to strive for and am happy about the fact we've been able to achieve some of them. I like that we have "stick-to-itiveness." I'm thankful for being able to laugh when the going gets tough: One thing I found out about me is even if we don't reach our goals and its raining on my head It can be funny. I like that I can often smile my way through difficulties. --David Marquardt, President
