Examples of uniform colors used in hospitals are Caribbean Blue, Royal Blue, and Surgical Green. Landau scrubs come in many different styles and colors, and they also offer printed scrub tops for nurses.
Landau scrubs began in 1983 by Rudolph Landau. Landau began selling workman's uniforms to service station and garage employees before he shifted to medical uniforms and opened retail store located in the heart of Memphis' medical center.
Mr. Landau built alliances with Memphis hospitals to ensure the Landau store serviced all the hospital employees' uniform needs. After Mr. Landau passed away, his son took the business to another level by becoming a manufacturer. Originally the manufacturing 'division' consisted of five seamstresses sewing just a couple of basic doctor's lab coats in the basement of the retail store. As the business grew, Nat was able to take greater risks by developing unique products. Over time, the company was able to expand into our own manufacturing plant.
In the early 1980s, Landau was the first manufacturer to introduce scrubs in fashionable colors, creating a new market for the healthcare industry. In the late 1980s, Landau created another new market for the healthcare industry by introducing printed scrubs.
Landau scrubs is a great resource for fashionable scrubs if you are unable to find what you need at blue sky scrubs.
