How to Find the Perfect Fit for Scrubs Online

How to Find the Perfect Fit for Scrubs Online

Having your correct size on hand is especially important when buying clothes online. No matter how reasonable or generous a retailer’s return policy may be, let’s face it—most of us determine our size by trying on a pile of clothes in the dressing room! Read on for sizing tips that should hopefully save you a trip to the post office.

Step One: Take Your Measurements

Check that you have a fabric tape measure stashed away. If not, you can buy one at the drugstore, or a craft store such as Michael’s or JoAnn’s. A fabric tape measure will get you more accurate results.

When you’re ready to take your measurements, wear little to no clothing for better accuracy. You might also try measuring yourself at different times of day to notice if there is any variation. For example, try taking your measurements in the morning before breakfast, after you wake up, and again in the evening, before bed, and see how the numbers compare.

Step Two: Consult the Sizing Chart

Every sizing chart specifies how you should take each measurement. You can find ours here.

The methods are fairly standard, but double-check the chart just in case there are any differences. For example, your waist measurement means your natural waistline, not where you normally like to wear your scrub pants. Your hip measurement is around the fullest part of your hips, and your chest measurement is around the fullest part of your bust.

All of our scrub bottoms at Blue Sky Co. have a relaxed fit, so your inseam measurement isn’t as important as your “waist to foot” number, which is the length in inches from your natural waistline to your ankle.

Bonus Step: Ask Questions!

The sizing charts is there for you to use as a helpful resource when placing your order. If anything is unclear, and you are unsure what size to order, call and ask! You can reach us at 888.302.5837 or CustomerAssistance@blueskyscrubs.com.
